Located at the eastern golden coastline of Shenzhen, Xiaomeisha is the most significant coastal leisure spot in the South China Sea. The competition aims to re-establish Xiaomeisha as an international tourism hub equipped with public/entertainment facilities. The proposal which was awarded a second prize offers an iconic and playful urban/architectural setting with innovative and high-end design approaches.
